CAN would like to send a very big thank you to our new
friends in the Rotaract Club of the Claremont Colleges.

Thanks to all of their hard work, dedication, and great ideas, they made a difference by "Lightening the Load."

More than 50 suitcases were collected and care packages brimming with school supplies, toiletries and goodies were created for LA's foster youth who can now carry their belongings with dignity.

Children's Action Network has teamed up with
Good Day LA and Fox 11
to bring you the stories of foster children waiting for adoptive homes.

These films, part of a series called "Change a Child's Life" feature Los Angeles area foster children telling their own stories in their own words.
There are more
than 114,000 foster children in the United States who need a place to call home.
It is our hope that by raising awareness about the youth and sharing their hopes
and dreams we can help them find permanent loving families.
